How we work

Initial Consultation. Assess all your needs

We will begin with a thorough consultation to understand your vision, lifestyle needs, and budget for the project. This includes discussions about your preferred design style, desired functionality for each space, and any inspiration they might have. We also take detailed measurements of the space and note any architectural constraints.

Concept Development & Mood Board Creation

Based on your input, we start brainstorming design concepts. I research current trends, explore material options, and develop a mood board that visually represents the overall direction of the project. This mood board includes furniture styles, colour palettes, finishes, and potential fabric samples.

Space Planning & Furniture Layout

Once you approve the design concept, we move on to space planning. This involves creating detailed floor plans that optimize the use of space and ensure a smooth flow throughout your home. We present these plans along with 3D sketches to help you visualise the layout.

Next step

Material Selection & Product Sourcing

Once we've perfected your space's layout, we embark on the exciting journey of selecting furniture, lighting, and finishes. Drawing on our expertise in high-end brands and resources, we'll curate pieces that perfectly match your style, budget, and the overall vision for your home.

Project Management & Procurement:

Throughout the process, We keep you informed and involved. We manage the project timeline, handle procurement of materials and furniture, and coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure smooth execution.

Installation & Final Touches:

Once the furniture and finishes are delivered, we oversee the installation process. I also attend to the final details like window treatments, artwork, and accessories, ensuring a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing space.

We offer a simple three-step process, where you will get exactly what you have always wanted. We will provide you with an easy and affordable design service. And everything will be done at the perfect pace for you without ever having to worry about what it will cost. Everything is included. It allows you to budget ahead with complete clarity and peace of mind.

STEP 1 - Getting to know you

An initial 2-hour consultation where we meet at your home to review the goals for your space and go over anything you’d like to keep, and what you love and hate about the space. It’s great to get as much information as possible about what everyone needs and wants in their home. Following the meeting, we send through a proposal detailing the interior design services with a fee structure.

STEP 2 - Project Launch

After payment, our professional design team will start the creative process taking into account your wishes and preferences given in the questionnaire. We re-visit your home and thoroughly take measurements and photos of each space in the project.

STEP 3 - Design

The design phase is where we put in the most work, and it can be a bit hectic! This is when we create all of the design elements, including floor plans, drawings, furniture, finishes, fabrics, and fittings. We also brief the trades involved and get quotes for everything. We'll keep in touch with you throughout the process to make sure we're on the same page and that we're meeting your needs.

STEP 4 - Presentation

The design presentation is an exciting step because it is when we present to you the entire design, everything we have worked on for the past few weeks. We have created efficient space and furniture layouts that optimize flow and functionality for your lifestyle. We have also included convenient spots for power points or charging stations.
We have created functional lighting plans for your home, as well as light fittings that provide the ideal function and atmosphere in each space. We have also created crafted joinery designs for custom pieces of furniture or cabinetry.
Finally, we have selected the best finishes and materials for your renovation, such as tiles, natural stone, flooring, wallpaper and paint colours.

STEP 5 - Wrap-up

We have a final meeting to close out the project, including giving you a binder folder with the information on all the items in the project, recommendations and care information. This is usually a bittersweet meeting because we will be great friends now!
